Grade 10 with 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management (Stores) or Grade 12 with 2 years experience in the field of Supply Chain or Management and Asset Management.
Knowledge of photocopying and duplicating machines.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, paying attention to details and ensuring correctness of data/information.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
Prepared to work overtime when required to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and interpersonal relations.
Must be a client-oriented person.
Effective communication skills (written & verbal), must be able to read and write.
Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
Duties
Delivery of stock received at transit to the end-users.
Packing of stock on shelves in a relevant warehouse.
Assist with inventory and ensure compliance with the ”LIFO” rule.
Ensure that the warehouse / transit area is tidy and clean.
Effective communication with fellow members/colleagues and relevant stakeholders within the institution.
Render asset management, general services such as collection of redundant and obsolete assets from end-users.
Delivery of newly acquired assets to the relevant end-users after bar-coding.
Collection of assets for repair and maintenance purposes and assist in asset verification and stock taking.
