Requirements

• Grade 10 with 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management (Stores) or Grade 12 with 2 years experience in the field of Supply Chain or Management and Asset Management.
• Knowledge of photocopying and duplicating machines.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, paying attention to details and ensuring correctness of data/information.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
• Prepared to work overtime when required to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal relations.
• Must be a client-oriented person.
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal), must be able to read and write.
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

Duties

• Delivery of stock received at transit to the end-users.
• Packing of stock on shelves in a relevant warehouse.
• Assist with inventory and ensure compliance with the ”LIFO” rule.
• Ensure that the warehouse / transit area is tidy and clean.
• Effective communication with fellow members/colleagues and relevant stakeholders within the institution.
• Render asset management, general services such as collection of redundant and obsolete assets from end-users.
• Delivery of newly acquired assets to the relevant end-users after bar-coding.
• Collection of assets for repair and maintenance purposes and assist in asset verification and stock taking.
